It's impossible to register all domains I host and will be hosting at TransIP because they belong to customers. It would be welcomed if TransIP can still be configured as slave DNS without having the domain names registered.

I totally agree, it's something that I'm missing a lot since I started with VPS from TransIP.
This is what is preventing me from running any simple sites on Transip. I just want to throw up a Wordpress site just for playing around or hosting smaller, less active sites I have.
