The operator for UK domains has recently raised the cost price for all domains ending in *.uk. They also announced pricing will now be reviewed annually, making it possible to register UK domains for single years.
As a result, we have to make a price adjustment for .co.uk, .me.uk, .org.uk and .uk domains. From May 16th 2016, the registration price will be £4,99 with a renewal price of £7,99. We will automatically renew your domain yearly from now on, instead of every two years.
